Delivering Safe Drinking Water to the City of Grandview Since 1935
Connecting to the District Network
Establishing a new service connection with Jackson County Public Water Supply District No. 1 is a streamlined process designed to integrate new residential and commercial properties into the District’s reliable water network. To initiate service, applicants must complete the required documentation and pay the applicable connection fees, which cover the costs of the meter, tapping the main, and administrative processing.
The District provides oversight for the installation of service lines from the water main to the property line, ensuring all connections meet strict engineering standards and include necessary components like backflow prevention devices where required. By coordinating closely with developers and homeowners, the District ensures that every new connection is executed safely and efficiently to provide immediate access to high-quality water service for the Grandview community.
For new construction, the following connection fees would apply in addition to the above deposits:
| ¾” | $3,000.00 | |
| 1” | $5,000.00 | |
| 1 ½” | $10,000.00 | |
| 2” | $15,000.00 | |
| 4” | $35,000.00 | plus applicable costs |
| 6” | $75,000.00 | plus applicable costs |
