Delivering Safe Drinking Water to the City of Grandview Since 1935
Under Missouri Revised Statutes Chapter 247, the governance of public water supply districts is vested in elected boards of directors. The statutes provide for five directors, serving staggered terms, each elected from a different sub-district. District directors must be:
- At least 25 years of age
- Reside within the boundaries of the District for at least one year prior to election
- Not be delinquent in the payment of any taxes at the time of election
- Be a resident of the applicable sub-district
Each member is elected to a three-year term.
